Test Equipment Chauvin Arnoux C.A 1510 Air Quality Logger

Test Equipment Chauvin Arnoux C.A 1510 Air Quality Logger

The Chauvin Arnoux C.A1510 can measure CO2, temperature and humidity around you for a healthy environment. Indoor air quality has become a significant public health concern in recent years. Numerous studies have shown that environmental factors in the office, classroom, and home can have an impact on physical comfort and mental performance. Outdoor air contains approximately 0.04% (400 ppm) of CO2. Indoor environments can elevate concentrations to 1500 ppm or more.
The C.A 1510 air quality meter helps address this concern by monitoring temperature, humidity, and carbon dioxide (CO2) in the local environment. This compact, easy-to-use instrument provides quick and accurate readings, and can store up to one million measurements. Monitoring CO2 levels can be highly beneficial. In addition to the potential health effects caused by breathing high concentrations of this gas, CO2 levels also serve as a good indicator of the efficiency of the building’s air ventilation and circulation system.
An Android™ compatible application is available FREE from the Google Play Store. It displays trend or tabular listing of the data, real-time mode calculation of the confinement index, data export and report generation.

Test Equipment Sonel LKZ-1000

 Test Equipment Sonel LKZ-1000

Description

Earthworks involving excavation, pipe laying and underground cables can bring a high risk of damage to underground utilities, assets and safety which potentially could cause dangerous situations to arise. In order to minimise these risks, an underground cable and services detector can be used.

The LKZ-1000 underground locator kit makes determination of the location, direction and depth of the utilities possible, including power and electrical cables, telecommunication cables, metal pipes, plastic and concrete pipes (using additional probes). Determination of the location and direction of the underground services is performed in various conditions, and therefore the locator is able to work in several different modes dependant on the situation:

Power - This mode is for determination of the location of live electrical cables. This is a passive mode as the signal is generated by the live cable, WITHOUT the need to connect the transmitter to one end of the cable.

Radio - This mode is used to determine the location of metallic objects which re-emit radio signals (for instance a dead underground cable). The signal is generated by the object which is emitting the radio waves.

8 kHz - This mode is used for accurate determination of the location of a specific utility (cable, pipe, etc.). the frequency of the generated signal (8 kHz) ensures longer range and lower tendency for signal transmission to other objects. This is an active method of tracing and requires the transmitter to be utilised.

33 kHz - Used to determine the location of a specific utility. This frequency is used the most for location of utilities. It provides the highest effectiveness, although it does have the greatest tendency of signal transmission to other objects. This method also involves the use of the signal generating transmitter and therefore is an active method.

Auto - This mode provides the advantages of both the power and the radio modes. It is very convenient for prliminary scanning of the site.

Inductive - Without access to the cable or service, all the user has to do is place the signal generator (transmitter) over the object that requires tracing and a traced signal is generated via the transmitter's internal aerial into the buried underground service without any physical connection to the utility.

Using the transmitter to generate a traced signal into the underground utility, it is possible to accruately determine the depth of specific utilities down to 3 metres. To do so the equipment must work in the 8 kHz or 33 kHz active modes where both the transmitter and the locator are used. In non-conductive utilities, the signal can be genrated by introducing a transmitter probe in the form of a rolled or floating cable into the utility (plastic and concrete pipes etc.).

By using additional probes the direction and depth as well as the location of any potential obstructions can be determined. A separate induction clamp with a diameter of 100mm may also be used with the transmitter. Clamping the jaws around the cable, pipe, or service induces a 33 kHz traceable signal without interruption of the service (such as when disconnection of telecoms cables is not possible, a power cable cannot be disconnected or a metallic pipe cannot be opened). The locator can be utilised to trace the induced signal in the service without disconnection or inconvenience.

Thanks to the intuitive menu and clear graphic display, the locator is very user friendly. It also has a number of options and functionalities, such as a self diagnostic check that enhance the safety and ease of work.

Features:
  • Passive or active modes of tracing
  • Detection of underground live cables
  • Detection of dead underground wires with no voltage (radio mode)
  • Detection of underground services using the transmitter
  • Tracing of metallic and non-conductive pipes (using probe)
