Description 

The Testrite T-250 moisture meter is capable of performing moisture content measurements for building materials and timbers. To increase the accuracy of the T-250 moisture meter, a number of material groups are programmed into the meter, encompassing numerous timbers and building materials. By grouping various materials into the meter, the accuracy is improved whilst the device still remains easy to use. The T-250 has a built in calibration check function to allow the user an added advantage of being able to check the functionality of the T-250 moisture meter both quickly and easily.
With it’s ergonomic design and large backlit LCD display the T-250 offers both the experienced user and the novice user a fast and easy method of determining the moisture content of a wide range of building materials and timbers. The LCD display is both clear and functional with the main parameters being displayed to the user in a central location. A bar graph allows those users who may be used to an analogue moisture meter the possibility of reading from this scale, although a large display of the moisture content of the material in % is displayed with a resolution of 0.1%. Along the bottom edge of the display is a Dry/Moist/Wet indicator with a moving cursor to alert the user to the current state of the material and a built in temperature and humidity meter is useful in determining the drying time of materials, as well as being used to temperature compensate the material being measured.
